Exports were slightly down to €94.6 billion from €99.1 billion in October. Compared with November of 2012, shipments to the EU countries increased by 1.8 percent to €53.4 billion of which €34.3 billion (+0.1 percent) were dispatched to the Euro Area. Sales to EU countries not belonging to the Euro area reached €19.1 billion (+4.9 percent), while exports of goods to countries outside the European Union amounted to €41.2 billion, unchanged from the previous year.
Imports fell to €76.5 billion from €81.3 billion in the previous month. Imports from the EU totalled €49.8 billion of which €34.1 billion came from the Euro Area. Purchases from non-European Union Members decreased 1.0 percent on the year to €26.7 billion.
