The number of unemployed went up by 29 thousand to 3,125 million from 3,096 million in November 2014. In the same period, non-agricultural unemployment rate decreased by 0.3 percentage points to 12.4 percent while youth unemployment rate fell by 0.8 percentage points to 19.1 percent.
There were 26,676 million employed persons, as compared to 25,874, up 802 thousand million persons in the previous year, bringing the employment rate to 45.8 percent. Of those who were employed, 19.3 percent was employed in agriculture (-0.7 percentage points from November 2014), 20.1 percent was employed in industry (-0.3 percentage points compared to the same period a year earlier), 7.5 percent was employed in construction (-0.1 percentage points from November 2014) and 53.1 percent was employed in services (+1.1 percentage points compared to November 2014).
The labor force participation rate increased 0.7 percentage points from a year earlier to 51.2 percent in November 2015. The activity rate for males increased by 0.3 percentage points to 71.3 percent, while for females it grew by 0.7 percentage points to 31.6 percent.
