The primary sector grew 7.2 percent due to increased production of crops such as: beans, corn, wheat and barley grain.
The secondary sector expanded 1.8 percent as a result of the increases registered in manufacturing (2.6 percent), mining (1.9 percent) and water and gas supply (2.7 percent).
The tertiary sector expanded 3.4 percent. Mass media information and services grew 6.1 percent; trade 5.4 percent; business services and support, waste management services and remediation 4.9 percent; transport and storage 4 percent; insurance and financial services 3.4 percent and real estate and intangible goods rental 2.1 percent.
On a quarter over quarter basis, the GDP expanded seasonally adjusted 0.77 percent. For the full-year of 2012, the growth reached 3.9 percent.
