Spanish Deflation Slows


Consumer prices in Spain are expected to fall 0.6 percent year-on-year in April of 2015, up from a 0.7 percent drop in the previous month, due to an increase in energy prices.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 1.0 percent in April, the highest increase since April of 2014.

Harmonised consumer prices are expected to decrease to an annual -0.7 percent from -0.8 percent in March, and a monthly 0.7 percent from a 2.0 percent growth in the previous month.
