The value of exports in April 2015 amounted to SEK 99.0 billion, while imports were valued at SEK 93.3 billion. Compared to April 2014, exports increased by 4.1 percent in value, while imports increased by 0.65 percent.
Trade with countries outside the EU resulted in a surplus of SEK 14.7 billion, while the EU trade resulted in a deficit of SEK 9.0 billion.
Seasonally adjusted, the net trade surplus amounted to SEK 3.7 billion in April 2015, compared to SEK 3.5 billion in March 2015. The corresponding figure for February 2015 was SEK 3.0 billion.
So far this year, the value of exports grew 4.8 percent to SEK 389.0 billion while imports increased 3.8 percent to SEK 373.2 billion compared to the corresponding period one year ago.
