Prices in Spain Rise for the First Time in 12 Months


Consumer prices in Spain are expected to grow 0.1 percent year-on-year in June of 2015, up from a 0.2 percent drop in the previous month, as cost of energy and food rose the most.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose at a slower 0.3 percent in June, compared to a 0.5 percent increase in May.

Harmonised consumer prices are expected to remain stable on a yearly basis following a 0.3 percent fall in May, and rise a monthly 0.2 percent from a 0.4 percent growth in the previous month.
