After reaching 15.1 percent in January of 2011, the annual inflation rate has been steady declining. In June, it was down by 0.92 percentage point from 10.11 percent registered in June of 2012.
On a month-over-month basis, prices increased 0.63 percent in June, down from 0.87 percent recorded in May. Cost of others goods and services recorded the highest increase (0.82 percent), followed by prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages (+ 0.79 percent). The index for restaurants and hotels grew 0.73 percent in June over the previous month and prices of clothes and footwear increased 0.7 percent. Prices of Communications and Education remained unchanged again in June.
