Dutch Unemployment Rate Keeps Falling

The seasonally adjusted jobless rate in Netherlands decreased to 6.8 percent in July of 2015 from 6.9 percent in the previous two months reaching the lowest since February of 2013.

The number of unemployed persons fell by 8,000 to 603,000 in July. A year earlier, the figure was 648,000.

Employment remained steady at 8299 thousand. Year-on-year, it went up 1.13 percent. 

Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate was flat at 70.2 in July but increased slightly from 7.1 percent in the previous year. 

In July of 2014, the unemployment rate was recorded at 7.3 percent.
