The heavily-weighted food and non-alcoholic beverages index remained unchanged at an annual 6.5 percent.
Year-on-year, cost of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuel eased the most to 9.6 percent, from 14.3 percent in the previous month. Transport prices decelerated to 7.8 percent, from 9 percent in August and cost of clothing and footwear eased to 4.9 percent, from 5.2 percent last month. Cost of restaurants and hotels also slowed in September to 2.2 percent, while health prices accelerated to 2.9 percent.
Annual inflation rate which excludes food and energy for the month of September has decreased to 5.8 percent from 6.2 percent recorded in August.
Annual inflation rate for energy and fuels has decreased to 9.6 percent in September from 15.2 percent in the previous month.
The monthly headline inflation rate for September increased 0.5 percent compared to a decrease of 0.1 percent recorded in August.
