Inflation was steady for;miscellaneous goods & services (+1.5 pe rcent), housing, water, electricity, gas & other fuels (+2.1 percent), and education (+2.0 percent) In addition, prices declined for:clothing & footwear (-0.5 percent), transport (-5.5 percent), and communication (-2.6 percent).
Core consumer prices rose 2.0 percent year-on-year in October, compared with a 2.1 percent gain in September.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.3 percent after falling 0.3 percent in a month earlier.

Price remain unchanged for communication (0.0 percent from -0.1 percent).
