Year-on-year, the inflation rate rose 3.0 percent in cities and 3.1 percent in rural areas. The food prices went up by 5.9 percent, slowing fom a 6.5 percent rise in October. Non-food cost increased by 1.6 percent, the prices of consumer goods went up by 2.9 percent and the prices of services grew by 3.3 percent.
On a monthly basis, prices decreased 0.1 percent, the first fall in six months (-0.1 percent in cities and remained at the same level in rural areas). While the food prices went down by 0.2 percent, the non-food prices and cost of consumer goods remained at the same level. Prices of services decreased 0.2 percent.
