The trade surplus in Hungary widened to HUF 168 billion in November of 2019 from HUF 141.6 billion a year earlier. Exports increased 3.2 percent to HUF 3154 billion and imports rose at a slower 2.5 percent to 2986 billion. The share of European Union Member States was 80 percent in exports and 76 percent in imports. Considering the first eleven months of 2019, the country's surplus narrowed 41 percent to HUF 1588 billion, with exports rising 6.4 percent and imports 6.9 percent.
