Luxembourg's producer prices decreased 1.5 percent year-on-year in October 2019, following a downwardly revised 2.7 percent fall in the previous month. This was the sixth straight month of decline in producer prices, though at the softest pace since May, as prices fell less for intermediate goods (-2.8 percent vs -4.9 percent in September) and consumer goods (-5.7 percent vs -5.8 percent). Meantime, cost advanced at a slower pace for energy (7.4 percent vs 7.6 percent) and capital goods (2.9 percent vs 3.1 percent). On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 1.2 percent, after increasing 1.1 percent in the prior month.
