Same-day visitors fell 12.1 percent, while overnight visitors plunged 15.3 percent. Visitor arrivals in Macau tumbled 10.9 percent year-on-year to 2.91 million in November 2019, after a 1.8 percent rise in the previous month. Same-day visitors dropped 10.5 percent, while overnight visitors fell 11.4 percent. Visitors from China plunged 11.1 percent, with those traveling under the Individual Visit Scheme falling 14.9 percent. Also, visitors decreased from South Korea (-36.5 percent) and Hong Kong (-3.4 percent), but rose from Taiwan (1.1 percent). Considering the first eleven months of 2019, visitor arrivals soared 12.7 percent year-on-year to 36.32 million.

Visitor arrivals in Macau increased by 1.8 percent year-on-year to 3.21 million in October 2019, after a 8.0 percent gain in the previous month. Same-day visitors grew 8.1 percent, while overnight visitors fell by 4.8 percent. Visitors from China rose 1.5 percent, with those traveling under the Individual Visit Scheme falling 1.9 percent. Also, visitors increased from Hong Kong (11.5 percent), Taiwan (3.6 percent), and the Philippines (33.7 percent), but declined from India (-25.3 percent), Japan (-34.9 percent), South Korea (-28.1 percent), and the US (-15.8 percent).
