Slight improvements were seen in the current assessment for investment (49.1 from 48.0 in March) and the company's situation (54.5 from 54.4). However, manufacturers' present opinion about the country's economic situation deteriorated (49.1 from 49.5). In addition, prospects regarding the country's economic situation (53.6 from 54.6) and the company's situation (59.5 from 59.9) weakened. Business Confidence in Mexico averaged 51.92 Index Points from 2004 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 58.60 Index Points in February of 2007 and a record low of 34 Index Points in February of 2009.
Business Confidence in Mexico is expected to be 50.90 Index Points by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations.
