Producer prices in Montenegro rose 2.9 percent year-on-year in June of 2019, accelerating from a 1.9 percent increase in the previous month. Electricity, gas and water prices advanced 3.8 percent, after showing no growth in May and mining & quarrying inflation climbed to 4.8 percent in June from 4 percent, due to higher prices of coal (5.1 percent from 4.3 percent). On the other hand, cost slowed for manufacturing (1.7 percent from 2.2 percent), namely food (2.7 percent from 2.9 percent); non-metallic minerals (2.5 percent from 4.9 percent); basic metals (1.2 percent from 1.9 percent) and furniture (1.8 percent from 1.9 percent).
