The unemployment rate in Slovenia inched higher to 8.0 percent in April 2020 from 7.9 percent in the previous month, as the number of people actively looking for a job fell amid efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic. In addition, the number of unemployed hit 88.6 thousand, the highest level since April 2017.
