The unemployment rate in Turkey declined to 12.9 percent in November of 2020 from 13.3 percent a year earlier. Non-agricultural unemployment rate also decreased to 14.8 percent from 15.4 percent. The number of unemployed dropped by 303 thousand to 4.005 million and those employed also fell by 1.103 million to 27.066 million. Employment fell in agriculture (-361 thousand), industry (-91 thousand) and services (-751 thousand) while construction rose by 101 thousand. The labour force declined by 1.406 million to 31.071 million.
