Producer prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina rose to a record-high of 24 percent year-on-year in May of 2022, accelerating from a 20.3 percent increase in the previous month. Costs surged for intermediate goods (33.3 percent) and energy (24.6 percent), while rising at lesser extent for capital goods (14.2 percent) and durable consumer goods (12.7 percent). On a monthly basis, producer inflation was at 3 percent, picking up from a 2.9 percent in April.
