It was the highest reading since February of 2020, as sentiment improved among manufacturers (102.3 vs 95.4 in March), traders (94.9 vs 86.9) and service providers (85.4 vs 76.8). Meanwhile, constructors turned pessimistic (110.9 vs 116.4).

The business confidence indicator in the Czech Republic increased by 3.5 points from the previous month to 90.6 in February of 2021, despite renewed lockdown restrictions across the country. It was the highest reading since March, as sentiment improved among constructors (114.6 vs 108.5 in January), manufacturers (97.1 vs 93.2) and service providers (81.9 vs 78.1). Conversely, confidence decreased among retailers (87.4 vs 90.4).
