H&E Equipment Services, Inc. is an integrated equipment services company. The Company rents, sells and provides parts and services support for categories of equipment, including hi-lift or aerial work platform equipment, earthmoving equipment, and material handling equipment. The Company operates through five segments: equipment rentals, new equipment sales, used equipment sales, parts sales, and repair and maintenance services. Its equipment rentals segment rents its core types of construction and industrial equipment. Its new equipment sales segment sells new equipment in all of its core product categories. Its used equipment sales segment is engaged in sale of used equipment from its rental fleet, as well as from sales of inventoried equipment. Its parts sales segment sells new and used parts for the equipment it sells. Its repair and maintenance services provide maintenance and repair services for its customers.
