PNM Resources, Inc. (PNMR) is an investor-owned holding company with two regulated utilities providing electricity and electric services in New Mexico and Texas. The Company's electric utilities are Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) and Texas-New Mexico Power Company (TNMP). Its segments include PNM, and TNMP. PNM segment provides integrated electricity services that include the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity for retail electric customers in New Mexico. PNM segment also includes the generation and sale of electricity into the wholesale market, as well as providing transmission services to third parties. TNMP segment provides transmission and distribution services at regulated rates to various retail electricity providers (REPs) that, in turn, provide retail electric service to consumers within TNMP’s service area. TNMP also provides transmission services at regulated rates to other utilities that interconnect with TNMP’s facilities.
