Exports from Thailand increased by 7.8% from a year earlier to USD 24.9 billion in September of 2022, easily beating market consensus of a 4.2% rise, following a 7.5% gain a month earlier,helped by increased shipments of food and industrial goods. This was the 19th straight month of expansion, amid a further recovery in global demand as more countries recovered from COVID disruptions.
