Personal spending in Thailand rose by 1.4 percent month-on-month in December 2022, accelerating from a 0.8 percent gain in November. It was the largest growth since April, mainly lifted by the rise in spending for the service sector, as foreign tourist arrivals increase. Household consumption continued to improve, however the high living cost and slowdown in farm income growth for some regions still weigh heavily on personal spending. source: Bank of Thailand
