Car exports from the United Kingdom jumped to 46,977 units in May 2021, up dramatically from just 4,260 a year ago when Covid restrictions halted manufacturing. Considering January-May, auto sales were up 38.6 percent with 83.6 percent of all cars built so far in 2021 shipped overseas.
